IRCOL Test Bench is a multi-functional optical collimator system for electro-optical testing and performance validation. Designed for visible, NIR, and SWIR imaging systems, night vision devices, thermal cameras, laser rangefinders, and multi-axis sighting systems, it delivers precise, repeatable measurement and calibration.

Featuring a high-performance mirror-based optical collimator, IRCOL supports modular configurations and a wide range of accessories for flexible test setups. Ideal for advanced EO/IR characterization, it provides accurate, reliable system validation in demanding laboratory and field environments.

Key Capabilities

Visible to Shortwave Infrared (VIS–SWIR) Cameras: Characterization of noise performance, spatial resolution, MRC, distortion, field of view, optical-to-mechanical axis alignment, and system latency.

Thermal Imaging Systems: Measurement of NETD, MTF curves, MRTD curves, and TOD curves, along with range performance estimation and optical-to-mechanical axis alignment verification.

Multi-Sensor Frame Systems: Precision validation of optical axis alignment and compatibility with large-aperture imaging configurations.

Laser Rangefinders & Designators: Assessment of beam alignment, divergence, ranging accuracy, distance measurement performance, and laser pulse energy characterization.

Night Vision Devices: Evaluation of gain, resolution, infinity focus, eyepiece zeroing and range, goggle axis parallelism, sensitivity metrics, and detection of optical spot defects.
