The award-nominated 3D hyperspectral light field cameras ULTRIS 20 and ULTRIS 20 Plus have been upgraded to include a wavelength range of 350-1000nm enabling UV-VIS-NIR coverage.
Building on the success of the ULTRIS 20 and ULTRIS 20 Plus, the ULTRIS X20 expands the wavelength range from 450-850nm to 350- 1000nm, thereby including the UV spectrum and making UV-VIS-NIR coverage possible.
With a constant FWHM of 10nm across all channels, over 160 spectral bands compared to the previous 100 plus, and a native image resolution of 410×410 pixels (combined with the pan sensor on the ULTRIS X20 Plus model over 1800×1800 pixels is possible), the ULTRIS X20 takes hyperspectral imaging to new heights, enabling even more applications.

We are very proud and deeply honored that the ULTRIS 20 is now an official finalist for the SPIE 2021 Prism Award. From around 150 applications, 3 finalists were nominated for each of the 10 categories! “The Prism Awards for Photonics Innovation is a leading international competition that honors the best new optics and photonics products on the market” (SPIE, 2021).
In 2020, the ULTRIS was awarded with the GOLD medal from Vision Systems Design for its innovative technology. Vision Systems Design Magazine USA celebrates and recognizes the most innovative products and services in the vision and image processing industry worldwide since 2014.
Last but not least, the ULTRIS 20 was nominated for the inspect award 2021.
Cubert systems fully supports perClass Mira, a user interface for interpretation of hyperspectral images. It allows users to define classification and regression solutions and deploy them in the live applications of Cubert cameras. Mira provides automatic machine learning without pro-gramming and enables the users to interactively improve their solutions.
perClass Mira, fully compatible to Cubert Utils camera control software, brings state-of-the-art machine learning research to industrial practitioners and researchers.
A conventional color image has three colors per pixel (red, green, and blue), but a hyperspectral image can have hundreds of colors across the electromagnetic spectrum.
