Bodkin Design & Engineering to Exhibit Custom Solutions at Defense & Commercial Sensing in Orlando, FL May 1st-4th
The Defense and Commercial Sensing Exhibit, run by SPIE, will be in Orlando, FL this year. This is one of the largest conferences on imaging and photonics for defense and security, as well as healthcare and environmental applications. Bodkin Design & Engineering, LLC (BD&E) will be showcasing our extensive line of hyperspectral cameras and customized solutions. BD&E is a collaboration-focused company and will be focused on supporting companies looking for simple solutions to complex problems.
BD&E has been creating innovative solutions for over thirty years and distributes a variety of spectral imagers, including the Cubert ULTRIS series for targeted projects. In the recent webinar: “How to Design Machine Vision for Your Application: From Infrared to Hyperspectral,” Andrew Bodkin, the founder of BD&E, lays out the steps to selecting the components for a machine vision system to empower customers to consider the specific needs of their application to find the right spectral solutions as well as products.
At the show, we will demo the government-funded Spectral-Polarimetric Imager (SPI-640,) a specially designed imager that utilizes these two technologies to distinguish changes in the self-emission pattern of the soil which indicates disturbed earth. BD&E is also a distributor of Unispectral’s multispectral imager the Monarch II, a device that can easily be embedded in robotics and machine control systems and covers 680-920 nm. This is a low-cost option for those looking for real-time data from the palm of their hand.
Our team of scientists and engineers will be present to offer advice on which services and products will be useful to your application. Come and meet us in booth #405!
